AVITA Medical (ASX: AVH) leads the FMP Top 10 for the week ending 31 October 2026, ranked #1 on a +253% quarterly gain, the largest on the list, ahead of Dalaroo Metals (ASX: DAL) at #2 on a +93% quarterly gain and Berkeley Energia (ASX: BKY) at #3 on a +71% quarterly gain. All ten names rose over the week, led by Ingenia Communities Group at +13.38% and Data#3 at +13.31%. Five names sit outside resources — AVITA Medical, Ingenia Communities, Wisr, Challenger and Data#3 — and five are tied to mining, drilling services or phosphate fertiliser. The list shows heavy rotation: six of the ten companies are new to the published FMP Top 10, Wisr returns after its first appearance on 8 August, three names continue from last week, and seven names from the 24 October list have dropped out.

AVITA Medical (ASX: AVH) moved from #3 to #1, with its quarterly gain rising from +219% on the 24 October list to +253%, while its weekly gain was +6.88% (down from +17.47%). Day counts are trading sessions and are capped at 45 in the source data, so "45+" means at least 45 sessions. Minbos Resources shows no day count because the source export left that field blank.

Which Top 10 Stocks Gained the Most Over the Week to 29 October 2026?

All ten names rose over the week. Ingenia Communities Group (ASX: INA) posted the largest weekly gain at +13.38%, followed by Data#3 (ASX: DTL) at +13.31% and Minbos Resources (ASX: MNB) at +12.50%. Challenger (ASX: CGF) had the smallest weekly gain at +2.75%, ahead of Dalaroo Metals (ASX: DAL) at +3.85% and Berkeley Energia (ASX: BKY) at +6.58%. The average weekly gain across the ten was +8.72% and the median was +8.83%. Weekly gain is the weekly share-price performance figure in the Finer Market Points export, captured on Thursday 29 October 2026.

The table below sorts the ten names by weekly gain and shows where each ranked for weekly performance among the 617 ASX companies that passed the FMP filter that day.

None of the ten ranked in the top 20 of the 617 companies for weekly performance; the best weekly rank was Ingenia's 21st. That differs from the 24 October list, where RAS Technology Holdings ranked 1st and LinQ Minerals 3rd for the week. This week's list is therefore built on the proprietary momentum score, which weighs more than one time window, and not on the strongest weekly movers.

Minbos Resources (ASX: MNB) is the only name with a negative quarterly gain at −5% and ranked 290th of 617 for quarterly performance, yet it holds #8 on a +12.50% week. Three names continue from the 24 October list and each changed its weekly reading: AVITA Medical moved from +17.47% to +6.88%, Dalaroo Metals from −17.86% to +3.85%, and Mount Ridley Mines from +4.65% to +9.09%.

Which Themes Are Driving ASX Momentum This Week?

Rare earths and financials place two names each, and gold exploration places one name, down from three on the 24 October list. Lithium and uranium exploration, medical devices, retirement communities, mining drilling services, phosphate fertiliser and IT services place one name each.

Which rare earths stocks are on the list?

Rare earths places two names: Dalaroo Metals (ASX: DAL, #2), which pairs the Blue Lagoon zirconium, hafnium and rare earth system in southern Greenland with the Bondoukou Gold Ridge gold project in Côte d'Ivoire, and Mount Ridley Mines (ASX: MRD, #5), which reported a scandium Inferred Mineral Resource of 946Mt at its Grass Patch Project in Western Australia on 26 August 2026. For the Mount Ridley story, see how Mount Ridley entered the FMP Top 10.

Which financial stocks are on the list?

Financials places two names: Wisr (ASX: WZR, #6), a digital non-bank lender that reported a first cash net profit after tax of A$1.0 million for FY26 on a loan book of A$1.084 billion, and Challenger (ASX: CGF, #9), the retirement income group, which reported statutory net profit after tax up 163% to A$506 million on 18 August 2026. Wisr's cash profit is a company-defined measure and not a statutory profit.

Which mining and resource-linked stocks are on the list?

Berkeley Energia (ASX: BKY, #3) announced a maiden Inferred Mineral Resource of 11.8Mt at 0.41% Li2O and 0.21% Rb2O at its Conchas project in Spain on 21 July 2026, and also holds the Salamanca uranium project, where it is pursuing international arbitration against Spain. Mitchell Services (ASX: MSV, #7), a drilling services provider, reported September-quarter revenue of A$66.5 million, up 25% on the prior-year quarter, on 19 October 2026. Minbos Resources (ASX: MNB, #8) is building a phosphate fertiliser plant at Cabinda in Angola under a US$13.8 million Phase 2 construction contract, with completion targeted for the second quarter of 2027. Dalaroo Metals is the only gold exploration name this week.

Which stocks outside resources are on the list?

AVITA Medical (ASX: AVH, #1), the RECELL spray-on skin device maker, reported second-quarter 2026 net revenue of US$21.7 million, up 18% year on year; see the AVITA Medical company page. Ingenia Communities Group (ASX: INA, #4) owns and operates rental and land-lease communities for older Australians, and its ASX announcements this month concern takeover proposals: on 28 October 2026 it said Warburg Pincus made a revised proposal on 27 October, that a process deed with AVID Property Group remains in place, and that Warburg Pincus would be granted exclusive due diligence access by no later than 1 November 2026, subject to AVID's matching right. Data#3 (ASX: DTL, #10), an IT services provider, reported FY26 gross sales up 12.7% to A$3.4 billion on 24 August 2026.

What Does This Week's Data Reveal About ASX Momentum Conditions?

This week's list is split evenly between non-resource and resource-linked names. Five of the ten companies — AVITA Medical, Ingenia Communities, Wisr, Challenger and Data#3 — are outside resources, and five — Dalaroo Metals, Berkeley Energia, Mount Ridley Mines, Mitchell Services and Minbos Resources — are linked to mining, drilling services or phosphate fertiliser.

How Did the FMP Launch Pad Perform This Week?

Eight of this week's ten FMP Top 10 companies carry a populated FMP Launch Pad entry — AVITA Medical (ASX: AVH) and Wisr (ASX: WZR) show no Launch Pad data this week. Christopher Hall's reading of this week's rotation across resource and non-resource momentum names is drawn from Finer Market Points' own continuously maintained momentum record: weekly readings of every ASX-listed company since 2020, ranked on the same proprietary momentum score each week and written to a time-series register, now recomputed every day for Members. That standing record is the research Finer Market Points is built on, not an impression formed after the fact. It is general educational commentary and not a recommendation to trade any security.

Data note. This week's dataset was captured on Thursday 29 October 2026 before the market closed. The prices behind every percentage in this article are therefore intraday, not closing prices, and they will differ from Thursday's close and from Friday's close. The ranking, the thematic composition and the day counters are unaffected by that timing; the individual percentages should be read as accurate to the moment of capture rather than to any settled session.
